Vector interns participate in real engineering design projects related to the development and fabrication of space flight systems. Interns work directly with our engineers to contribute to project goals in fields of mechanical design, fluids, aerodynamics, rocket propulsion, flight controls, electronics, avionics, enterprise software, flight software, structures, and systems engineering.  

Program Schedule:

September 4 to November 30: Intern candidates are invited to create a profile and upload a cover letter and resume on the VECTOR Career page.

December to January: VECTOR conducts interviews and makes offers

May/June: VECTOR intern program begins for a 10-week internship

To be considered for a VECTOR internship, a student must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a U.S. Person (generally defined as a U.S. citizen or resident who has a permanent legal right to work in the United States); VECTOR does not offer Student F-1 or Work H-1B visa sponsorships.
  • Have completed at least his/her sophomore year in college and plan to return to school in the fall after completing their internship.

Current graduate and undergraduate students in engineering are invited to apply.  Opportunities are available at our headquarters in Tucson, Arizona, in addition to our facilities in Huntington Beach and San Jose, California.
